Every kind of clogged drain — solved
Kitchen sinks backed up with grease and food debris. Bathroom sinks and tubs slowed by hair and soap. Toilets that won't flush properly. Laundry drains that overflow during a wash cycle. Floor drains in garages and utility rooms. Main sewer lines blocked by roots, sludge, or collapsed sections. Branden's Plumbing handles all of it, from a quick kitchen sink rooter to a full main-line cleaning, for homes across Butte and Glenn County. We diagnose the actual cause — not just the symptom — so the clog stays gone.
Cable rooter and hydro jetting
Most clogs are cleared quickly with a professional cable machine that breaks up the blockage and pulls debris out. For heavier jobs — grease buildup in kitchen branches, root intrusion in your main sewer, or chronic recurring clogs — we use hydro jetting, which scours the inside of the pipe walls with high-pressure water and leaves the line nearly as clean as the day it was installed. We carry both tools on every truck, so we can match the right method to your problem without a return trip.
Camera inspection when it matters
When a drain keeps backing up, you need to know why. We can run a sewer camera through your main line to find roots, bellies, offsets, or pipe damage, and show you exactly what we see on the screen. That way, if a repair is needed beyond cleaning, you have the evidence — not just our word — and you can make an informed decision about your home.

Frequently Asked Questions
What causes most clogged drains?
Hair and soap scum in bathroom drains, grease and food in kitchen sinks, wipes and excess paper in toilets, and tree roots in main sewer lines are the most common culprits we see in Chico and Orland homes.
Do you use a snake or hydro jetting?
Both, depending on the job. A cable machine clears most kitchen, tub, and lavatory clogs. For heavy grease, root intrusion, or recurring backups, hydro jetting scours the pipe walls clean.
Are chemical drain cleaners safe?
We generally don't recommend them. Store-bought drain chemicals can damage older pipes, hurt your skin and eyes, and rarely fully clear a blockage. A professional cleaning is faster, safer, and lasts longer.
How often should I have drains cleaned?
If you have older cast iron lines or mature trees near your sewer, an annual rooter service helps prevent surprise backups. Most homes only need service when a problem develops.
Will you make a mess in my house?
No. We use drop cloths, mats, and contain debris at the cleanout. We leave your kitchen, bathroom, or laundry the way we found it — or cleaner.
